Well I am almost at my 6 mount surgiversary. I have lost 80lbs since the very beginning and and 65 from the day of surgery. I am wearing a size 18 pants and 1x/2x shirt. I feel good...everyone says I look good. I am about 13 lbs from Onederland....so maybe by my 7 month .
A friend of mine gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Tuesday morning. I will admit I am so envious...holding her, smelling her, watching her nurse....makes me want another. NO..I will never have another...but I can't help a little "baby fever". Boys will be going back to school soon. Anna will be here for good on Sunday. My baby will be doing his first TKD tournament Saturday. My kids are at the point they are more independent...more settled. I am proud of all of them.Yet there is still that part of me......
But this too shall pass!

Wow..It's August already! Where is the summer going?In 23 day my kids go back to school. It is official that my Step-Daughter is moving in with us, and I am very excited! My life lately has pretty much been kids, work, Hubby, kids, critters, work.... I really need to get my butt back to the Gym. I have had no time lately and I feel like a slug. I don't know what I'm going to do when the kids go back to school. I am going to be working days and will have to juggle gym time into an evening routine. I am hoping I will work till around 2:30- 3pm then I can get an hour in before heading home to start dinner, but I have to see how the hours pan out.
As for my weight...well, not much change there...a pound or two...I think. I am not as scale obsessed these days...probably because the damn thing never moves!

Well, had a 3/4 month appt with my surgeon today. I officially weigh 222lbs. That is 70 lbs in 4 months. Coarse the YMCA scale said 219lbs...I like that better...LOL. I see my GP on Friday and her scale is ALWAYS much nicer then the surgeon or my home scale...so we will see. I had a meeting with a personal trainer at the Y yesterday... that was fun. I did 45 min of weight training and 15 cardio. I am supposed to get my butt in there Mon, Wed, and Friday and fill in my work out card. Then in 4-6 month reschedule with her to revamp the work out. I am a bit sore today...but I feel good. Oh and I am wearing a size 18/20 pants{and a few size 16 "magic" pants(magic cause I can actually get them on...lol).}

Ah, a peaceful Sunday evening at home ALONE! Belated Happy 4TH to everyone. I worked most of the weekend. Went to a cookout yesterday evening...hubby and the rugrats are all there again tonight. I opted for some quiet time. I think I have finally lost another 3 lbs. It's been so long since the scale has moved. I am hoping that after "AF" leaves another few lbs will go with her. It seems I only lose weight right at and after my period...then I stall forever. not sure what is up with that, but I don't like it much. I have an appt with the surgeon on the 14th...so crossing my fingers that I get out of the 220's before/by then!

It's a beautiful day. I am stuck home cause...duh...I forgot to get my car inspected in June...now they can't get me in till Wednesday so I am stuck. Oh well, I got the lawn mowed and went swimming for awhile. Now I am showered and sitting around in a towel cause I am too lazy to get dressed...hehehe. I am really hoping that I will lose a few more lbs next week, after this whole PMS crap goes away...it's been almost 3 weeks and I have lost NOTHING! I'm getting scared I am going to stay here forever. My hair is really starting to come out...and I hate that. I am terrified at this rate I will be bald by the end of summer. It wouldn't be so bad if it would wait till I was skinny...skinny and bald wouldn't be so bad, but fat AND bald is unacceptable!

Well June is almost over. I don't know where the time goes anymore. It used to seem, way back when I was young, that time moved very slowly.Remember the long hot days of summer? So, I don't really get this whole blog thing, I have a couple of myspace accounts...a facebook....so, what the heck thought I'd give this a try. On March 18th I had Gastric Bypass surgery. I have lost 65lbs since the beginning of March. I feel pretty good. I still have a long way to go, but I have come a long way from the beginning. My blood pressure is almost normal, even without my meds(which I never remember to take any more) Most people have been very supportive, though there are a few who think I took "the easy way out". I can see where they would think that. It looks like I loose the weight effortlessly. I have to buy new(well...new to me anyway) clothes every few weeks...I have dropped 3 pant sizes and 4 shirt sizes. It does look easy. They weren't the ones who couldn't sleep in a bed for almost 6 weeks after surgery. They didn't have to "drink" there food for almost 6 weeks. They didn't have gas so bad they thought there insides would explode. They never sit and crave something so bad they could cry and KNOW they can't have it. They don't take 3 bites of there favorite food and not be able to eat the rest. They don't spend hours feeling intense pressure in there chest if they eat too fast. They don't have the foods they normally eat suddenly make you sicker then a dog. They don't cancel plans because they are so constipated(because they can't eat enough to get their fiber) they feel like the they are going to die, or diareha so bad they can't leave the bathroom. They don't have people watch every bite they take and critique there diet. There are so many things that "normies" don't ever see about WLS. I still have to diet and excersize....I still work for my losses. I still stall and wonder if my scale is ever going to move again. And I am only three months out. It will get worse once my "honeymoon" period is over. Oh well, I am not ashamed to say I took the easy way out, I know the differance. I also know it's a huge gift that I am very thankful for.
